Fed-up commuters have a chance to grill train bosses about problems with the St Albans to London line at a public meeting next month.
Representations from Govia Thameslink and Network Rail will be answering submitted questions about their plans for the service.
Cllr Roma Mills, chair of St Albans district council‘s (SADC) planning, resources, housing and commercial scrutiny committee, said: “The Thameslink service continues to be a major issue for the tens for thousands of our residents who commute to London. I know that many people were angered by the New Year fare rises and the promised overhaul of the city station to relieve platform congestion at peak times has still not happened.”
It will take place at the civic centre on February 8, 7pm. Questions should be sent to scrutiny@stalbans.gov.uk or posted to the scrutiny officer at SADC’s offices by noon on February 5.
