Play Rangers are offering the open access sessions for children at five locations where activities will include parachute and ball games, arts and crafts, mask painting, drama, base building, tent pitching, wide games and skateboarding - for all of which parents must give their consent.

On Monday the activities will run from 11am to 3pm on the Verulamium Park tennis courts in St Albans, on Tuesday from 9.30am to 1.30pm at the Marford Road playing fields in Wheathampstead, on Wednesday from 11am to 3pm at Greenwood Park in Chiswell Green, on Thursday from 9.30am to 1.30pm at the Marlborough Club in Sopwell, and on Friday from 11am to 3pm at the Oysterfields open space in Batchwood.

Parent consent forms are available on the council website to print off and complete in advance or they need to be filled in on the day before the child is dropped off.
