The search is on for a moped which was stolen from the driveway of a St Albans home.

Herts Police are appealing for information following the theft, which happened in St Stephens Avenue last Friday (10) between 8-11.15pm.

The moped, a blue Honda C90e, had the registration B930KPK and is more than 30 years old.

Police community support officer Lewis Griffiths said: “The bike is quite distinctive and for some people a bit of a collector’s item.

“I’d like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the bike being stolen, seen someone riding it, or even had someone attempt to sell it to them.”

Any information can be reported via the non-emergency number 101, or anonymously on 0800 555 111.
