COMMUTERS are experiencing train delays on the Thameslink route of up to an hour after a woman was hit by a train.
The incident happened just after 1pm between Harlington and Flitwick.
As a result services between London St Pancras International and Luton are facing disruption.
First Capital Connect (FCC) reopened the slow lane just after 2pm but a 20mph speed limit is currently in operation.
The fast lane is currently still blocked.
Uno buses are operating between St Albans and Hatfield until further notice to help travellers.
An FCC spokesman said they have requested for alternative operators and routes to accept train tickets.
He added: “We will return to normal service as soon as possible.”
