A large branch trapped in overhead wires is causing train delays at St Albans City Station this morning.
Until the obstruction between St Albans and Radlett has been removed, services are being forced to divert on alternative lines.
This is causing congestion and delays all the way to West Hampstead Thameslink.
Commuters are being advised to allow extra time for their journey and tickets are being accepted on Southern services between London Bridge and Sutton via Streatham and Tooting.
