There were delays on the M1 this morning after a car broke down near Harpenden.
Traffic officers from Highways England were called to the M1 southbound, within Junction 9 near Harpenden, at around 7.30am today (Thursday, May 10).
A car had broken down, and two lanes out of four were closed while the traffic officers moved the car to the hard shoulder.
Traffic was delayed as far back as Junction 11 for Luton, but the lanes have now reopened and delays are starting to ease.
