A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital with chest and shoulder injuries following a collision with a car in Harpenden earlier today (Monday).
The incident happened in Station Road, at the junction with Milton Road, at around 12.45 this afternoon and the 51-year-old man from Harpenden is being treated in hospital.
It is thought that his bike and a blue Vauxhall Corsa were involved in the collision.
The Harpenden fast response car was at the scene within three minutes and the patient was treated and stabilised on the roadside before being taken to Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
