A ST ALBANS garden centre is celebrating after winning two prestigious accolades in national industry awards voted for by their customers.
The team at Burston Garden Centre in North Orbital Road, Chiswell Green, picked up two of the sought-after gold awards at The Greatest Awards ceremony in association with The Gardening Retailing Awards for Team Success in the categories of ‘The Greatest Plants Sales Team South East’ and ‘The Greatest Large Garden Centre Team UK’.
Top snooker champion Steve Davis presented Burston Garden Centre with their trophy, certificates and champagne, at the awards ceremony at The National Motorcycle Museum near Birmingham.
Retail manager Darren Pattinson said: “The awards mean so much to us, especially as all the votes come from our customers. We couldn’t have had such success without them. Over 1,400 customers voted us and we received such lovely comments complementing our staff teams. We will be personally thanking all the customers who voted.”
