A BRIDGE over the A414 at London Colney was closed this morning after a lorry crashed into it.
The bridge where Shenley Lane and Napsbury Lane meet was closed for around five hours following the accident at 10.40am.
A police spokesperson said a lorry carrying a crane had clipped the bridge as it went underneath it, but the driver escaped unharmed.
The closure allowed for structural damage to be investigated and diversion signs were put in place before Herts Highways reopened the bridge at 3.30pm.
