THERE was disruption in London Colney this morning (Thursday) after a five tonne crane fell off the back of a lorry.
Police were called to the Bell Roundabout, near to the Savacentre, shortly before 10.30am.
The crane had fallen off the back of the flatbed truck and was lying in the carriageway. No other vehicles were involved.
Another vehicle came to collect the crane, which was removed just after midday.
There are concerns that the carriageway may have been damaged and Herts Highways have been called out to inspect the road surface.
