Garth Brown: 29, of Church Crescent, St Albans, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 costs after damaging a window at Watford on February 10.
Paul Pizzey: 31, of Lavender Crescent, St Albans, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 costs after damaging items belonging to Precious Homes, St Albans, on May 14.
Brandon O’Malley: 21, of Morris Way, London Colney, was fined £125 plus £105 costs after being found in possession of two bags of cannabis in St Albans on November 3.
Kishan Thoree: 22, of Alexander Road, London Colney, was fined £115 plus £320 costs for being drunk and disorderly in St Peter’s Street, St Albans, on January 3.
Gary Jakeman: 26, of New Kent Road, St Albans, was placed under a curfew from 8pm-8am daily until May 11, and ordered to pay £300 compensation and £145 costs for stealing an iPod belonging to Marks & Spencer in St Albans on March 18.
Roman Suchanek: 33, of Walsingham Way, London Colney, was fined £80 plus £235 compensation and £105 costs after stealing alcohol worth £235 from Marks & Spencer at St Albans on March 10 and 12. He was also ordered to pay £464 compensation for stealing bottles of Jack Daniel’s whiskey from Sainsbury’s in St Albans on March 21 and 22, £177 compensation for stealing alcohol from Marks & Spencer in St Albans on March 28 and 30, and five Blu-Rays and one DVD from Co-op in St Albans on March 31.
Stephen Herbert: 43, of Russet Drive, St Albans, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £170 compensation and £205 costs after stealing two electric toothbrushes worth £139.98 from Superdrug in St Albans on February 8, multi-vitamins worth £170 belonging to Holland and Barrett in St Albans on February 4, and failing to surrender to custody at Central Herts Magistrates Court on April 1.
Simeon Dacre: 35, of Langley Grove, Sandridge, was committed to prison for six weeks suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £50 compensation and £310 costs after stealing a computer tablet worth £249 from Sainsbury’s in Hoddesdon on November 23, assaulting a man by beating at Hoddesdon on January 8, and stealing a computer tablet worth £79 from Sainsbury’s in Hoddesdon on January 8. He was ordered to pay a further £80 compensation and £85 costs for stealing meat and CDs from Sainsbury’s in St Albans on January 11.
Kerry Gogarty: 36, of Pageant Road, St Albans, was fined £50 and ordered to pay £25 compensation and £105 costs for assaulting a police constable in the execution of his duty in St Albans on March 15.
John Rees: 41, of Perham Way, London Colney, was given an 18 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 costs after assaulting a woman by beating at London Colney on March 15.
Levi Dionysus: 38, of Oysterfields, St Albans, was ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid community work and pay £100 costs after assaulting a woman by beating and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a fear of immediate unlawful violence at St Albans on February 15. He was ordered to carry out a further 100 hours unpaid community work and pay £70 compensation after stealing two computer games and a computer game case in St Albans on February 18.
Marc Hoare: 38, of How Wood, Park Street, was fined £240 plus £105 costs and was banned from driving for 36 months after giving a breath specimen of 41mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in How Wood, Park Street, on March 16.
Mizalnur Rahman: 26, of Dellfield, St Albans, was banned from driving for a year and fined £375 plus £487 costs after refusing to provide a breath specimen at Hatfield on August 22.
Craig Johnson: 34, of Manor Road, London Colney, was fined £145 and ordered to pay £72.50 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs after keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road, namely Tavistock Street, Luton, on January 5.
Kevin Morris: 51, of Orchard Drive, Park Street, was fined £540 plus £704 costs and awarded seven penalty points for failing to stop following an accident in which damage was caused to another vehicle in Parkgate Road, Watford on April 8, or reporting the accident at a police station within 24 hours.
RICHARD WALLER: 50, of Milford Hill, Harpenden, was only convicted of non-violent assault, and ordered to serve 80 hours unpaid community work, not 160 hours as stated in last week’s edition of the newspaper.
