Mason Barnsdale: 21, of Arthur Road, St Albans, was fined £120 plus £30.99 compensation and £105 costs after stealing £15 cash and Davidoff Cool Water aftershave worth a total of £30.99 from a man in Hemel Hempstead on February 1.

Luke Bassil: 21, of Bricket Road, St Albans, was ordered to attend rehabilitation sessions for 20 days and was fined £50 plus a total of £830 compensation and £145 costs after claiming he had booked and paid for a foreign holiday when no such booking had been paid for, intending to make a gain, namely keeping the money for himself, at Abbots Langley between May 7 and June 20.

Timothy Drewett: 22, of Melbourne Close, St Albans, was fined £140 plus £610.09 compensation and £105 costs after stealing fuel belonging to the British Oil Security Syndicate at Herts between August 10 2013 and September 4 2015.

Craig Sutherland: 39, of Townsend Avenue, St Albans, was fined £120 plus £175 compensation and £105 costs after stealing alcohol worth £175 belonging to Asda at Hemel Hempstead on January 18.

Andrew Smith: 40, of Cheverells Green, Markyate, was banned from driving for 20 months and fined £240 plus £109 costs after giving a breath specimen of 83mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in Adeyfield Road, Hemel Hempstead, on February 13.

Farah Elaboudi: 30, of Artisan Crescent, St Albans, was fined £330 plus £105 costs and was awarded a total of six penalty points for speeding along the 30mph A5183 Park Street, north of Burydell Lane, on July 26 and August 1, and speeding along Leverstock Green Road, east of Pancake Lane, Hemel Hempstead, on September 2.

Ian Brind: 33, of Beverley Gardens, St Albans, was fined £305 plus £31 costs and awarded five penalty points after speeding at 47mph along the 30mph B1008 Broomfield Road, Chelmsford, on January 31 2014. He was also fined £155 plus £85 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding along the A412 Rickmansworth Road, north-east of Cassiobury Park Avenue, at Watford on August 3.

Aiden Kelly: 52, of A5 London Road, Flamstead, was fined £265 plus £112 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving a manual vehicle while only possessing an automatic licence, on the A5 at Markyate on May 14.

Charlie Imossi: 20, of High Street, Colney Heath, was committed to prison for 26 weeks suspended for 18 months, ordered to carry out 150 hours unpaid community work, was banned from driving for 15 months, and instructed to pay costs of £165, for driving dangerously in Drakes Drive, St Albans, on February 13, which saw him involved in a prolonged police chase with passengers which involved numerous overtakings, maneuvers and off-road driving, and also failing to stop the vehicle when required to do so by a police constable in uniform, in Berners Drive on the same date.

Mason Barnsdale: 21, of Arthur Road, St Albans, was fined £267 plus £105 costs and was banned from driving for six months after driving without a licence or insurance in Normandy Road, St Albans, on February 16. He was fined a further £200 for driving a vehicle which was unlicensed and without due care and attention.

Aaron Beeson: 25, of Folly Avenue, St Albans, was fined £80 plus £105 costs after using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe immediate unlawful violence would be used against them, at Watford on January 31.

Chris Cairncross: 27, of London Road, St Albans, was given a 12 months conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs for sending false messages designed to cause annoyance, inconvenience and needless anxiety to another, at St Albans on January 30. He was also given a 12 months conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 costs for being drunk and disorderly at The Waterend Barn in St Albans on February 7.

Brian Sheaf: 59, of Scrubbitts Square, Radlett, was fined £200 plus £105 costs after assaulting a woman by beating and damaging bedding and walls at a property in Borehamwood on February 12.

Louis Bourke: 18, of St Anne’s Road, London Colney, was given a six month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 costs after being found in possession of a small bag of cannabis at St Albans on January 16.
