Francis Maynard: 35, of Harper Lane, Radlett, was fined £50 plus £50 compensation and £105 costs for assaulting a woman by beating at Radlett on December 5.

Helen Cash: 30, of Ver Meadows Caravan Site, Redbourn, was fined £165 and ordered to pay £83.82 compensation and £105 costs for dishonestly making off without paying for diesel worth £83.82 and providing a false name and address at an Esso petrol station in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, on March 16, and was awarded six penalty points for driving without insurance.

Adam Nazar: 24, of Hill End Lane, St Albans, was fined £146 plus £210 costs for dishonestly receiving stolen goods, namely a Garmin satnav worth £99.99, at St Albans on June 2, and was awarded six penalty points for driving without insurance or a licence along Cairns Close, St Albans, and taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, on June 2.

Joseph Lee: 42, of Wilshere Avenue. St Albans, was committed to prison for four weeks suspended for 10 months, and ordered to pay £250 plus £165 compensation after stealing a handbag and its contents in Hemel Hempstead on March 28.

Stephen Oakley: 53, of Chandlers Road, St Albans, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £40 compensation and £250 costs for stealing magazines worth £40 from WHSmith in Welwyn Garden City on April 9 and 28.

Sarah Flanagan: 36, of High Street, London Colney, was fined £240 plus £144 costs for using a television without a licence on March 3.

Hannah Gaunt: 24, of Alder Close, Park Street, was fined £200 plus £140 costs for using a television without a licence at the above address between February 1 and March 4.

Christopher Gunning: of Colindale Avenue, St Albans, was fined £90 plus £95.84 vehicle excise back duty and £90 costs for keeping an unlicensed vehicle in Camp Road, St Albans, on March 23.

Lee Rickard: of Wilshere Avenue, St Albans, was fined £200 plus vehicle excise back duty of £66.25 and costs of £90 for keeping an unlicensed vehicle in Mill Green Road, Welwyn Garden City, on March 9.

Keith Thompson: 61, of Green Lane, St Albans, was fined £200 plus £770 costs for failing to notify the district council about a change of circumstances which would affect his entitlement to housing benefit between June 5 2010 and February 18 2014, and failing to notify the Department of Work and Pensions about a change of circumstances which would affect his entitlement to income support between December 14 2010 and September 2 2013, namely that he had married his landlady Linda Thompson on June 5 2010.

Jason Banks: 26, of Chalkdell Fields, St Albans, was fined £400 plus £275 for running onto the pitch at Watford FC’s Vicarage Road ground on May 2.

Keith Armstrong: 56, of The Cleave, Harpenden, was banned from driving for 12 months, and fined £900 plus £325 costs after giving a breath specimen of 41mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in Harpenden Road, Harpenden, on May 20.

Jack King: 22, of Easton Gardens, Radlett, was fined £200 plus £8 compensation and £140 costs after failing to hand over a ticket for inspection near Radlett station on January 13.
