Drink driving

Adam Bradshaw, 20, of North Cottages, Napsbury, was fined �250 for possession of a gram of cocaine in London Colney on August 18, and fined a further �250 plus �100 costs and banned from driving for 15 months after giving a breath specimen of 51mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath in Bell Lane, London Colney, on August 18.

Rafal Michalewski, 35, of Lower Luton Road, Harpenden, was fined �100 plus �100 costs and banned from driving for 24 months after giving a breath specimen of 92mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in New House Park, St Albans, on August 18.

Motoring offences

Matthew O’Leary-Profit, 28, of Ladies Grove, St Albans, was fined �200 plus �100 and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 36mph along the 30mph Queensway at Hemel Hempstead on February 25.

Sureeporn Srimudkul, 35, of Hatfield Road, St Albans, was fined �75 plus �85 costs and awarded four penalty points for driving without due care and attention in Lower Dagnall Street, St Albans, on March 18, failing to observe and reduce her speed for an oncoming vehicle when pulling out of the junction with College Street and as a result colliding with the front nearside of the other car.

Lee Allen, 34, of Catham Close, St Albans, was fined �400 plus �100 costs and awarded four penalty points for speeding at 67mph along the M25 between J21-23 when 50mph temporary speed limits were in place, on February 23.

Stephen Brown, 60, of Watling Knoll, Radlett, was fined �117 plus �100 costs and was awarded five penalty points for driving without an MOT and without due care and attention along the A5183 Watling Street, Radlett, on May 8, failing to observe and give way to an oncoming vehicle, causing it to collide with his vehicle and causing serious injury to the left hand of the other driver.

James Talbot, 41, of Davys Close, Wheathampstead, was ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid community work, pay costs of �500 and was banned from driving for 17 months after refusing to provide a breath specimen at Hatfield on April 28.

Aaron Sinfield, 20, of Wheat Close, Sandridge, was fined �360 plus �635 costs and awarded eight penalty points for failing to stop and provide his name and address following an accident in Beech Road, St Albans, on February 9. He was fined a further �480 for failing to report the accident to police within 24 hours of it happening and driving without due care and attention.

David Stock, 47, of Lloyd Way, Kimpton, was fined �130 plus �100 costs and was banned from driving for 48 months after giving a breath specimen of 83mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in Noke Shot, Harpenden, on August 17.

Finbar Fitzpatrick, 23, of Spruce Way, Park Street, was fined �60 plus �15 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 36mph along the 30mph B4542 Prestwick Road, Oxhey, on February 19.

Stephen Ellis, 35, of Fairfield Close, Radlett, was fined �60 plus �95 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 61mph along the M25 between J21-23 when a temporary speed restriction of 50mph was in place, on March 11.

Jane Simpson, 49, of Ringway Road, Park Street, was fined �60 plus �15 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 41mph along the B4630 Watford Road at Chiswell Green on March 21.

Martin Vandervart, of Artisan Crescent, St Albans, was fined �600 plus �100 costs and awarded six penalty points for failing to reveal the identity of the driver using his car when it was alleged to have been involved in an offence between February 19 and March 17.

Theft

Marc Wilson, 32, of Central Drive, St Albans, was given a four week curfew from 7pm-7am and ordered to pay �20 compensation and �87 costs after stealing a DVD from HMW in St Peter’s Street, St Albans, on June 16.

Philippa Havard, 51, of Reed Close, London Colney, was fined �40 plus �50 costs for stealing food worth �40 from tesco at St Albans on July 4.

Steven Lloyd, 39, of Bricket Road, St Albans, was fined �90 plus �100 costs for stealing three cans of beer worth �5.50 belonging to Tesco Metro in St Albans on August 5.

Paul Sallows, 22, of Mountbatten Close, St Albans, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay �85 costs for resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty and stealing cans of Fosters beer and a sandwich from Marks & Spencer in St Albans on September 10.

Knife possession

Phillip Smithson, 46, of Cockle Way, Shenley, was committed to prison for eight weeks and made subject to a restraining order lasting for 12 months after having a large kitchen knife on his person in Ovaltine Drive, Kings Langley, on May 9.

Vehicle tax evasion

Ekram Ali, of Grenadier Close, St Albans, was fined �200 plus �90 costs and ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of �21.67 for driving an unlicensed vehicle along Alexander Road, St Albans, on February 13.

Julia Martin, of Park Field, Markyate, was fined �400 plus �90 costs and ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of �89.59 for failing to return a car tax disc that was paid for by a cheque which was subsequently dishonoured, at St Albans on January 13.

Howard Holness, 44, of Watford Road, St Albans, was fined �200 plus �415 costs and ordered to pay �69.50 compensation for stealing a box of onion bajhias worth �12 from Vegetarian Express in Watford on September 30, boxes of tomato wraps each worth �11.50 from the same place on September 19 21, 22, 28 and 29.

TV licence evasion

Falilat Adeyemi, 41, of Homefield Road, Radlett, was fined �125 plus �75 costs for using a colour television without a licence at the above address on January 30.

Ola Atew, 31, of Hamblings Close, Shenley, was fined �200 plus �75 costs for using a colour television without a licence at the above address on January 4.

Jeffrey Dunkley, 57, of Hickling Way, Harpenden, was fined �37 plus �75 costs for using a colour television without a licence at the above address on January 18.

Drunk in charge of a pedal cycle

Stephen Woodburn, 40, of Claudian Place, St Albans, was fined �135 plus �100 costs for being drunk in charge of a pedal cycle in Romeland, St Albans, on May 6.

Criminal damage

Christy Kavanagh, 21, of Temple View, St Albans, was fined �73 plus �100 costs for damaging a window belonging to St Albans District Council on September 1.

Assault

Gavin Counsel, 42, of Tollgate Road, Colney Heath, was ordered to carry out 100 hours unpaid community work and pay �150 compensation and �620 costs for committing assault by beating in Borehamwood on June 20.

Bradley Pickard, 22, of Ridgmont Road, St Albans, was committed to prison for 10 weeks suspended for 12 months, ordered to carry out 140 hours unpaid community work, was made subject to a restraining order until August 15 2015, and ordered to pay �250 compensation and �620 costs for assault by beating on May 6 in London Colney.

Ashok Bhopal, 39, of Milton Road, Harpenden, was given a 12 month conditional discharge, ordered to pay �300 compensation and �620 costs for assaulting a man by beating in Harpenden on April 22 and damaging a glass door on the same date.

Stephen Hughes, 34, of Cavan Drive, St Albans, was fined �220 plus �500 compensation and �375 costs for carrying out assaults in London Colney on March 8 and damaging a glass door on the same date
