Theft

Conor O’Shea, 24, of Riverside Road, St Albans, was fined �150 and ordered to pay costs of �105 for stealing three bottles of WKD Blue and three bottles of Smirnoff Ice from The Slug and Lettuce, St Albans, on October 5. He was also fined �50 and ordered to pay compensation of �50 for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour and a further �20 for obstructing a police constable in the execution of his duty.

Michael Ellis, 20, of Holyrood Crescent, St Albans, was fined �55 and ordered to pay compensation of �5.29 and costs of �100 for stealing four cans of beer from Marks and Spencer in St Albans on July 4.

TV licence evasion

Kathleen Godden, 53, of Reed Close, London Colney, was fined �150 and ordered to pay costs of �75 for using a TV without a licence at the above address on June 26.

Kelly Harris, 41, of Summerfield Close, London Colney, was fined �300 and ordered to pay costs of �75 for using a TV without a licence at the above address on June 26.

John Papp, 49, of Cowper Road, Markyate, was fined �200 and ordered to pay costs of �75 for using a TV without a licence at the above address between May 25 and June 26.

Farzana Rube, 34, of Furse Avenue, St Albans, was fined �200 and ordered to pay costs of �75 for using a TV without a licence at the above address on June 25.

Victoria Saben, 30, of Waldegrave Park, Harpenden, was fined �300 and ordered to pay costs of �75 for using a TV without a licence at the above address on June 26.

Drugs offences

Rikki Lee Constable, 21, of Battlers Green Drive, Radlett, was fined �75 and ordered to pay costs of �100 for possessing a small bag of herbal cannabis in Watford on July 11.

Brett Cansdale, 30, of Norris Close, London Colney, was fined �110 and ordered to pay costs of �100 for cultivating a cannabis plant on June 29.

False representation

Stefan Jakeman, 22, was commited to prison for 21 days for making a false representation to falsely obtain a loan between July 14 and August 1.

Motoring offences

Christine Young, 41, of Catherine Street, St Albans, was fined �45, ordered to pay costs of �15 and awarded three penalty points on her licence for driving at 38mph along the 30mph Hempstead Road, Watford, on March 24.

Sarah Wood, 41, of High Street, Markyate, was fined �350 and awarded four penalty points on her licence for driving at 69mph when there was a temporary speed restriction of 50mph in place on the M25 between junctions 21 and 23 on March 13. She was also was fined �350 and awarded four penalty points on her licence for driving at 70mph when there was a temporary speed restriction of 50mph in place on the M25 between junctions 21 and 23 on March 16 and fined �115, ordered to pay costs of �100 and disqualified from driving for three days for driving at 65mph when there was a temporary speed restriction of 50mph in place on the M25 between junctions 21 and 23 on March 22.

Steven Buss, 40, of Claremont, Bricket Wood, was fined �200, ordered to pay costs of �100 and awarded three penalty points on his licence for driving at 36mph on the 30mph Park Street on April 28.

Salvatore di Fonzo, 25, of Beech Road, St Albans, was fined �200 and ordered to pay costs of �100 for driving a vehicle without a test certificate on London Road, Hemel Hempstead, on May 24. He was also fined �400 and awarded three penalty points on his licence for driving in a manner in which passengers were being carried such that danger was caused or was likely to be caused to any person in or on it.

Adrian Irving, 51, of Chiswell Green Lane, St Albans, was fined �60, ordered to pay costs of �100 and awarded three penalty points on his licence for driving at 36mph on the 30mph Leverstock Green Road, Hemel Hempstaead, on April 4.

Suzanne Purssell, 43, of Crouch Hall Lane, Redbourn, was fined �200, ordered to pay costs of �100 and awarded three penalty points on her licence for driving at 46mph on the 40mph Leighton Buzzard Road on April 29.

Lea Bannard, 38, of Richmond Walk, St Albans, was fined �60, ordered to pay costs of �100 and awarded three penalty points on their licence for driving at 38mph on the 30mph Park Street on April 10.

James Nall-Cain, 51, of Waterend Lane, Wheathampstead, was fined �300, ordered to pay costs of �100 and awarded three penalty points on his licence for driving at 49mph on the 40mph St Albans Road West, Hatfield, on April 27.

Mark Doidge, 45, of Hatfield Road, St Albans, was fined �800, ordered to pay costs of �165 and disqualified from driving for 22 months after giving a sample of 89mcg per 100ml of breath while driving on Hatfield Road, St Albans, on October 5.

Assaulting a police officer

Charles Snowling, 24, of Linnins Pond, Flamstead, was fined �150 and ordered to pay compensation of �100 and costs of �100 for assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty at Flamstead on Semptember 26.

Rail fare evasion

Timothy Hossack, 28, of Park Street Lane, St Albans, was fined �85 and ordered to pay compensation of �8.80 and costs of �135 for travelling by train between Watford Junction and Euston without a valid ticket on February 17.
