Rail fare evasion

Olie Gibbs, 20, of Longfield Road, Harpenden, was fined £200 plus £140 costs and £3.80 compensation for failing to hand over a ticket for inspection at St Albans station on January 8.

Ross Lawrence, 23, of Hatfield Road, St Albans, was fined £200 plus £140 costs and £3.80 compensation for failing to hand over a ticket for inspection at St Albans station on January 5.

Motoring offences

Matthew Hodgman, 41, of Remus Close, St Albans, was fined £235 plus £100 costs and awarded four penalty points for speeding down the 30mph B462 Aldenham Road, Bushey, on July 25.

Richard Ough, 67, of West Common Way, Harpenden, was fined £335 plus £119 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 36mph along the 30mph B653 Lower Luton Road, Harpenden, on September 28.

Rebekah Habib, 27, of Battlers Green Drive, Radlett, was fined £300 plus £115 costs and awarded eight penalty points for driving without due care and attention along Green Street, Borehamwood, on December 14, failing to observe and give way to an oncoming motorcycle when making a right turn across a flow of traffic, colliding with the bike and causing serious injury to the rider.

Avi Noy, 43, of Maplefield, Park Street, was fined £145 plus £105 costs and awarded four penalty points for speeding at 58mph along the 40mph A41 North Western Avenue at Watford on November 18.

Martyn White, 42, of Admirals Close, Colney Heath, was fined £45 plus £15 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving without a licence along Queensway, Hatfield, on September 26.

John Harper, 40, of Hatfield Road, St Albans, was fined £135 plus £70 costs and awarded six penalty points for speeding at 53mph along the 30mph Watford Road, St Albans, on November 17.

Ravneet Bermi, 30, of Blueberry Close, St Albans, was fined £265 plus £111 costs and was awarded six penalty points for speeding at 50mph along the 30mph A1081 Harpenden Road, St Albans, on November 14.

Donna Cullum, 36, of Norris Close, London Colney, was fined £200 plus £105 costs after driving without a licence on the A414 at London Colney on November 14.

Shah Chowdhury, 40, of Woollam Crescent, St Albans, was fined £73 plus £105 costs and awarded five penalty points for speeding at 44mph along the 30mph Watford Road at St Albans on November 6.

Katerina Sebastiane, 43, of Fairmead Avenue, Harpenden, was fined £135 plus £105 costs and awarded four penalty points for speeding at 44mph along the 30mph Harpenden Road at St Albans on November 6.

Lee Sharman, 51, of Newsom Place, St Albans, was fined £37 plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving without a licence along London Road, St Albans, on September 14.

Richard Kershaw, 31, of Brook Court, Radlett, was fined £115 plus £105 costs for driving without an MOT on Dalton Way, Watford, on October 17.

Jamie Hurst, 27, of North Close, St Albans, was fined £80 plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving while using a handheld mobile phone along Dalton Way, Watford, on November 23.

Stephen Bailey, 43, of High Street, Markyate, was fined £200 plus £105 costs and awarded six penalty points for driving without insurance along Pickford Road, Markyate, on November 18.

Tamas Bujka, 35, of Loom Lane, Radlett, was fined £800 plus £145 costs and awarded eight penalty points for driving without a licence or insurance along the M1 between J4-5 on October 17.

Diana Hermosa, 30, of Oakwood Road, Bricket Wood, was fined £115 plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving without L plates or a qualified supervisor in the passenger seat at Oakwood Road, Bricket Wood, on January 11.

Drugs offences

John Thompson, 37, of Riverside Road, St Albans, was fined £75 plus £105 costs after being found in possession of 2g of cannabis in Hatfield on April 16.

Stephen Cohen, 19, of Grove Road, Harpenden, was ordered to have treatment for drug dependency for 12 months, and pay costs of £145 after being found in possession of a wrap of crack and eight small bags of cannabis in Harpenden on January 31.

Theft

Stewart Sanders, 33, of Marlborough Road, St Albans, was given a 14 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £307.78 compensation and £100 costs for making off without paying for fuel from London Colney on November 6, Chiswell Green on November 10, London Colney on December 19, Chiswell Green on December 26 and Park Street on January 5.

Simeon Dacre, 32, of St Albans, was given a 24 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £14.85 compensation and £100 costs for stealing Lynx bodyspray, Mach 3 razors, Hipp baby food and Magners cider from High Street, Wheathampstead on December 5, and a can of K cider from Market Place, Hatfield, on November 20.

Digna Green, 49, of Jersey Lane, St Albans, was ordered to pay £160 costs and made subject to a three month curfew between 8pm-7am after stealing an 18ct gold wedding ring from St Albans between January 1 2011 and November 18 2012.

Tyler Kirk, 18, of Riverside Road, St Albans, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £5.99 compensation and £45 costs for stealing a bottle of wine from Tesco Express in St Albans on April 3.

Breach of non-molestation order

Stephen Gillians, 40, of London Road, St Albans, was made subject to a 14 day curfew from 7pm-7am and ordered to pay £210 costs after breaching a non-molestation order by making telephone calls on Feburary 1.

Assault

Ali Bnichou, 32, was made subject to a curfew from 11pm to 7am for four weeks, and must pay £100 compensation and £145 costs after he assaulted a woman in St Albans on April 14.

Nicholas Haslett, 49, of Cairns Close, St Albans, was ordered to carry out 150 hours unpaid community work, pay £75 compensation and £560 costs for assault by beating in St Albans on November 9.

Drink driving

Lyn Jones, 43, of The Park, Redbourn, was banned from driving for 14 months, and fined £110 plus £105 costs after giving a breath specimen of 67mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in Tamblin Way, Hatfield, on April 20.

Public order offences

Howard Black, 48, of Bricket Road, St Albans, was fined £110 plus £105 costs for being drunk in a public place, namely St Albans on April 29, in breach of an anti-social behaviour order, and being in possession of a small quantity of cannabis in Hatfield on the same day.
