Motoring offences

Jackie Chambers, 46, of Jenkins Avenue, Bricket Wood, was fined £185 plus £15 costs and awarded six penalty points for driving without insurance in St Albans Road, Watford, on September 29.

David Berryman, 70, of Granville Road, St Albans, was fined £300 plus £100 costs and awarded six penalty points for speeding at 54mph along the 30mph Watford Road, St Albans, on September 8.

Harvey Davies, 24, of Hyde View Road, Harpenden, was fined £200 plus £100 costs for driving without an MOT along Watford Road, Chiswell Green, on September 6.

David Reid, 50, of Tassell Hall, Redbourn, was fined £200 plus £100 costs and awarded eight penalty points for driving without insurance along High Street Green, Hemel Hempstead, on September 22, and a further £70 for not having a licence.

Michael Rumble, 25, of Park Street, St Albans, was fined £260 plus £100 costs and awarded eight penalty points for driving without insurance along Abbey Avenue, St Albans, on September 30.

Laurence Saffer, 52, of Newlands Avenue, Radlett, was fined £135 plus £100 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 37mph along the 30mph A5183 Park Street, Frogmore, on September 10.

Michael Callan, 34, of Southview Road, Harpenden, was fined £100 plus £105 costs and awarded eight penalty points for driving without insurance along Comet Way, Hatfield, on October 23, and a further £35 for not having a licence.

Arran Neil, 33, Garden Cottages, Frogmore, was fined £220 plus £107 costs and was disqualified from driving for six months due to repeat offending after driving without insurance along the A1081 London Road at Harpenden on October 11, and fined a further £75 for not having a licence.

Stacey Fleckney, 25, of Seaton Road, London Colney, was fined £135 plus £100 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving while using a handheld mobile phone at Borehamwood on September 24.

Stephen Bailey, 43, of High Street, Markyate, was fined £135 plus £90 costs and ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of £73.34 for keeping a vehicle without a tax disc in Hicks Road, Markyate, on September 17, having previously declared it was kept off the road.

Robert Catling, 58, of Wesley Road, Markyate, was fined £300 plus £90 costs and ordered to pay vehicle excise back duty of £426.25 for keeping an unlicensed vehicle on a public road, namely London Road, Baldock, on August 15.

Izabella Korowska, 39, of Chapel Road, Flamstead, was fined £60 plus £15 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving while using a handheld mobile phone along St Peter’s Street, St Albans, on September 29.

Liam Naughton, 40, of Grange Court Road, Harpenden, was fined £1,000 plus £100 costs and awarded eight penalty points for driving without insurance at J21A of the M25 at Bricket Wood on September 28, and a further £335 for not having an MOT certificate.

Alex Browning, 38, of Knowle Drive, Harpenden, was fined £200 plus £100 costs for driving without an MOT certificate on the M1 between J6A and J6 on August 21.

Pauline Ngalete, 43, of Willow Way, Radlett, was fined £100 plus £100 costs and awarded six penalty points for driving without insurance along Gateshead Road, Borehamwood, on September 25, and a further £50 for using a handheld mobile phone.

Adam McNairn, 27, of Tavistock Avenue, St Albans, was fined £135 plus £100 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving without a licence along the London Road, St Albans, on September 20.

Mohammed Rahman, 27, of Alma Road, St Albans, was fined £300 plus £325 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving while using a handheld mobile phone along the A1(M) between Junctions 6-4 on April 23 last year.

Pauline Alexander, 49, of Claremont, Bricket Wood, was fined £135 plus £65 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 36mph along the 30mph A412 Rickmansworth Road, Watford, on August 5.

Theft

Dawn McNelly, 47, of Clarence Road, St Albans, was ordered to participate in a women’s specified activity under supervision for 10 days, and pay costs of £145 for taking a car without the owner’s consent at St Albans on February 4.

Simeon Dacre, 32, of Langley Grove, Sandridge, was given a 24 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay costs of £100 for stealing aftershave worth £36 belonging to Superdrug in St Albans on April 5.

Kane Dixon, 18, of Russet Drive, St Albans, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 costs for stealing fuel worth £87.50 from Lafarge Aggregate Quarry in St Albans on March 24.

Phillippa Havard, 52, of Norris Close, London Colney, was committed to prison for 22 weeks suspended for 18 months, and ordered to pay £70 compensation and £80 costs for stealing two turkey crowns worth £70 from BP at Rush Green, Hertford, on December 23, and further food items to a value unknown from Co-Op at Bengeo Street, Hertford, on January 6, and bacon, sausages and other meats worth £40 from Tesco Express Stores in High Street, London Colney, on September 9.

Drink driving

Andrew Clench, 61, of Garibaldi Public House, Albert Street, St Albans, was fined £100 plus £105 costs and banned from driving for 12 months after giving a breath specimen of 46mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in Little Heath Lane, Potten End, on February 3.

Public order offences

Shanwaz Choudhury, 19, of Francis Avenue, St Albans, was fined £92 plus £105 costs for being drunk and disorderly in St Peter’s Street, St Albans, on March 22.

Afzal Kabir, 21, of Thirlmere Drive, St Albans, was fined £160 plus £105 costs for being drunk and disorderly in St Peter’s Street, St Albans, on March 22.

Drugs offences

Anton Leto, 19, of Woodstock Road North, St Albans, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 costs for possession of a small quantity of cannabis in St Albans on January 9.

Rail fare evasion

Cathal Moyles, 25, of Brampton Road, St Albans, was fined £200 plus £140 costs and £10 compensation for failing to hand over a ticket for inspection at St Albans station on December 19.

Rosemary Richardson, 21, of Wensley Close, Harpenden, was fined £200 plus £140 costs and £6.80 compensation for entering a train at Harpenden without having a valid ticket for travel on January 1.

Criminal damage

Ashley King, 32, of Halsey Park, London Colney, was fined £265 plus £112 costs and £200 compensation for damaging a front door at London Colney on March 17.

Yvonne Emine, 56, of Pickford Hill, Harpenden, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £80 compensation and £135 costs for damaging a window belonging to E Seymour and Son Funeral Directors in St Albans between January 4-6.
