Drink driving

Nadia Harkin, 47, of Loom Lane, Radlett, was banned from driving for 36 months, fined �330 plus �635 costs after giving a breath specimen of 78mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in Aldenham Road, Radlett, on June 7.

Jane Bandy, 36, of Spruce Way, Park Street, was banned from driving for 48 months, ordered to have treatment for alcohol dependency for 12 months, carry out 120 hours unpaid community work and pay costs of �145 after refusing to provide a breath specimen at Hatfield Police Station on October 21.

Shelley Hyam, 34, of Silk Mill Road, Redbourn, was fined �250 plus �110 costs and banned from driving for 17 months after giving a breath specimen of 64mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in Sauncey Avenue, Harpenden, on November 18.

Kameli Ratuvou, 30, of Hatfield Road, St Albans, was banned from driving for 17 months and fined �1,600 plus �205 costs, after giving a breath specimen of 62mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath.

Motoring offences

Finbarr Fitzpatrick, 24, of Spruce Way, St Albans, was fined �500 plus �165 costs and awarded 12 penalty points for failing to provide the identity of the driver using his vehicle when it was guilty of offences between December 23 and January 19 and February 2 and March 1.

Farida Porter, 42, of Crown Street, Redbourn, was fined �293 plus �105 costs and banned from driving for 13 months for driving while disqualified and without insurance along Adelaide Street, St Albans, on November 17.

Haydn Holland, 60, of Watford Road, Radlett, was fined �240 plus �100 costs and awarded six penalty points for speeding in excess of 40mph along the A41 North Western Avenue at Watford on August 31.

Jayne McBeath, 61, of Prospect Lane, Harpenden, was fined �60 plus �15 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving while using a handheld mobile phone in St Peter’s Street, St Albans, on October 20.

Robert Alvis, 39, of Conquerors Hill, Wheathampstead, was fined �60 plus �100 costs and awarded three penalty points after speeding at 37mph along 30mph Drakes Drive, St Albans, on June 13.

Victoria Pitt, 22, of The Ridgeway, St Albans, was fined �135 plus �100 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 36mph along the 30mph Leverstock Green Road at Hemel Hempstead on April 27.

Mark Gallagher, 28, of Stanhope Road, St Albans, was fined �600 plus �100 costs and awarded eight penalty points for driving without insurance along Granville Road, St Albans, on June 21.

Liam Picton, 21, of Nicholls Close, Redbourn, was fined �200 plus �265 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving along Redbourn Road, Hemel Hempstead, while using a handheld mobile phone on May 26.

Karen Silver, 47, of Craigmount, Radlett, was fined �300 plus �100 costs and banned from driving for six monhts after driving in excess of 30mph along the B6426 Cavendish Way, Hatfield, on July 20.

Criminal damage

Shahan Ahmed, 24, of Dellfield, St Albans, was given an 18 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay compensation of �525 and costs of �60 after destroying a plate glass window belonging to Abbey Spice Indian restaurant in Stanhope Road, St Albans, on October 17.

Theft

Adam Boon, 39, of Cottonmill Crescent, St Albans, was given a 12 month conditional discharge, and ordered to pay �449.97 compensation and �100 costs after stealing three sets of headphones worth �449.97 from HMW in St Albans on October 25.

Susanna Hills, of Cottonmill Crescent, St Albans was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay �130 compensation and �100 costs after stealing items of outdoor clothing belonging to Cotswolds Outdoor Clothing and Camping in St Albans on October 23.

Rowan Hayles, 30, of Langley Grove, Sandridge, was given a six week curfew from 9pm-7am, and ordered to pay �300 compensation and �85 costs for stealing a flat-screen television worth �300 from an address in Cottonmill Lane, St Albans, on September 17.

Rail fare evasion

David Hornby, 48, of Hall Place, St Albans, was fined �200 and ordered to pay �10.60 compensation and �125 costs after entering a train at St Albans without having a valid ticket for travel, on August 20.

Andrew Niven, 34, of Scrubbitts Square, Radlett, was fined �37 plus �3.70 compensation and �70 costs for failing to hand over a ticket for inspection at St Albans station on August 14.

Gabriel Pleseru, 25, of Watling Street, Radlett, was fined �135 plus �3.10 compensation and �125 costs after failing to hand over a ticket for inspection at Radlett station on August 13.

Public order offences

Tom Beaney, 23, of Barley Mow Lane, St Albans, was fined �100 for failing to stop his vehicle as required by a police constable in uniform, and ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid community work and pay costs of �145 for assaulting a police constable while resisting arrest, in Highfield Lane, St Albans, on October 8.

Breach of order, theft and various other offences

Joseph Lee, 40, of Watling Street Caravan Site, St Albans was committed to prison for a total of 11 months for breaching a non-molestation order made by Luton County Court and stealing a vehicle and caravan keys on July 2.

He was also ordered to pay a total of �687.59 and fined �660 for a string of offences including making off without paying for fuel at Luton on December 3, stealing two Hitachi leaf blowers at St Albans on September 10, making off without paying for fuel from Hemel Hempstead on September 6 and 10, driving without due care and attention in Park Street on September 6 and causing personal injury to another person but failing to provide his name and address, and driving without a licence or insurance on Luton on September 3 St Albans and Hemel Hempstead on September 6, Park Street and Queensway on September 10.

Harassment

Tom Pipe, 19, of Whitehedge Drive, St Albans, was fined �165 plus �315 costs for harassment between July 14 and August 16.
