The first four results are in from yesterday’s district council elections - Labour leader Martin Leach holds Batchwood, Harpenden town mayor, Daniel Chichester Miles, holds Harpenden West for the Tories and Brian Ellis, Harpenden South, holds his seat, while Conservative Mike Wakely holds Harpenden East.
There are recounts in Park Street and Ashley, both Lib Dem seats.
