AN application to reconsider a Judicial Review over the proposed rail freight depot in Park Street has been lodged by St Albans district council today.
This comes after the council had their initial bid to challenge the decision made by Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, Eric Pickles, not to hold a conjoined inquiry with a similar rail freight scheme turned down last week.
The renewal application lodged with the High Court seeks an oral hearing before a High Court judge to have the ruling reconsidered.
