The period buildings and countryside scenery available played host to some typically action-packed Albert Square scenes.

The storyline for the episodes revolved around the marriage of Mick and Linda Carter, which turned sour when Mick’s brother Dean arrived uninvited and attempted to drown their mother, Shirley.

Due to its ideal location inside the M25 and only 18 miles from central London, Munden has played host to a variety of television and film shoots over the years including Midsommer Murders, Mrs Dalloway, Bremner, Bird and Fortune and That Mitchell and Webb Look.
