A teenage girl from St Albans has gone missing.
Police are appealing for the public’s help in tracing 15-year-old Gemma Wakeling, who was last seen at 3pm on Thursday (July 22) in South Oxhey, where she has lots of friends.
Gemma is described as white, around 5ft 5in in height and of a slim build, with very long dark-brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing cropped blue denim jeans with a rolled cuff at the ankle, sleeveless light blue hooded top, turquoise vest top and her hair was tied up in a pony tail.
A police spokesperson said that concerns are growing for her safety and wellbeing and she is asked to make contact with her family or the police as soon as possible. Anyone with information on her whereabouts should contact police on 0845 33 00 222.
