A COME Dine With Me contestant stopped off at a Harpenden hairdresser today for a short back and sides.
The popular Channel Four programme is currently filming in St Albans, Harpenden and Watford and this afternoon one of the contestants was filmed having a haircut at Capelli Cutting Company on Station Road.
Capelli Cutting Company owner Mike Avvinti, who cut the contestants hair, said that it was an exciting experience: "It was great fun! The producer, make-up team and film crew were all there filming my customer, who was passing his judgement on the meal he was cooked yesterday."
He added: "I am not allowed to say too much about the contestant, but I can reveal that he had a quick trim and he is in his early 40s! He also seemed to like last night's meal, so that's good news for whoever cooked it.
