Local builder Joe Carter is backing a Brexit, and using his truck to encourage others to do the same.
Joe, who lives in Radlett Road, Colney Street, has been parking his vehicle on the bridge over the M25, in Bricket Wood, to help advertise his push to ‘Get Britain Out’ of the EU.
He told the Herts Advertiser; “The police have phoned me to say they are worried about the weight of the vehicle, but it’s only a small truck!
“I’ve had a good response so far from people - the toots motorists have been giving me has been fantastic.”
Asked why he wanted the UK to leave the European Union, Joe replied that his main concern was immigration, adding, “We want an Australian-style system, targeting those we need living here, and not being available for people who just want to come here for our benefits.”
