A man in his 20s has died on the way to Lister Hospital, while being taken by ambulance from an address at Colney Heath early this morning (Tuesday).
A spokeswoman for Herts Police said that the ambulance service called officers to Roestock Lane in the village at 3.29am following reports of concern for the welfare of a man at an address.
She added: “The man, who is in his 20s, was taken to hospital but sadly died on the way to the Lister.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and the matter is being referred to the Coroner.”
