A TODDLER was rescued by firefighters after getting his leg stuck in a tree.
The little boy had been playing on a tree in Verulamium Park near to the Roman ruins on Sunday afternoon when he slipped and wedged his leg between the tree trunk and a branch.
Firefighters quickly cut free the toddler, who had been enjoying a day out with his mother and grandparents, and, although distressed, he was unharmed in the incident.
