Cat welcomes rescuers

FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue a cat which had been stuck up a tree all night. The crew from St Albans went to Saracens Head Yard in Pageant Road, St Albans, at around 4.30pm on Friday as the animal had been stranded up the tree since Thursday night.

The crew from St Albans went to Saracens Head Yard in Pageant Road, St Albans, at around 4.30pm on Friday as the animal had been stranded up the tree since Thursday night.

They used a ladder to reach the cat and the firefighter which caught it said it was very scared and keen to be rescued which was quite unusual.
