AN ENVELOPE containing a large amount of foreign currency was stolen from a coffee shop in London Colney last week.
The theft occurred at Starbucks in the Sainsbury's store in Barnet Road last Monday afternoon at around 2.45pm.
A man had momentarily left the envelope on a table when another man picked it up, emptied the money into a bag and made off in the direction of the car park.
Anyone who witnessed the incident on Monday, July 6, is asked to contact investigating officer Pc Ian Aldridge on 0845 33 00 222 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
