A CARAVAN was dumped and set on fire in a rail station car park yesterday (Thursday) afternoon.
Firefighters from St Albans were called to Park Street Station on Watling Street at around 2.30pm.
They found the caravan, which was thought to be relatively old, well alight in the small car park there.
It took firefighters half-an-hour to douse the flames and make the situation safe and the caravan was badly damaged in the incident.
