A car was stolen off of a drive in St Albans last night while the owners were home.
The police received a call at 10.35pm yesterday to reports of a burglary in Thirlmere Drive, in St Albans.
A police spokesman said: “Car keys were stolen and the victim’s car, a black Lexus, has been taken from the driveway.
“There was no sign of forced entry although a fence panel has been knocked down, possibly by the offender climbing over it to gain access to the garden.
“The occupants were in the house at the time of the burglary but they did not see the offender.”
