A CAR was deliberately set alight in a residential street in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).

Firefighters were called to Five Acres in London Colney at around 5.30am and found a silver Mini Cooper engulfed in flames with a brick thrown through the window.

Police also attended and are treating the incident as suspicious. Anyone with information that can help enquiries should call 0845 33 00 222.
