Residents of a London Colney house were left stuck inside this morning (Tuesday) after a car skidded into their front garden and blocked the front door.

A driver allegedly lost control of her blue Volvo after hitting a patch of ice and clipped a parked van before skidding into the front garden of a home in St Annes Road, London Colney at about 8.30am.

The mother and son residing in the house were left unable to leave their home, but luckily no one was injured during the incident.

The fire, ambulance, and police service all attended the scene.
