A WOMAN sustained minor injuries after her car landed in a ditch following an accident.
The incident happened at around 10.50am at the junction of Highfield Lane and Honeycroft Drive in St Albans.
Ambulance crews from Watford attended the scene and took one of two women travelling in the blue Vauxhall Zafira to hospital as a precaution. No other vehicles were involved.
Ambulance service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: "On our arrival, a car was down in a ditch. A woman was found inside and was complaining of neck pains. Paramedics placed her on a spinal board as a precautionary measure before being conveyed to Watford General Hospital.
