FIREFIGHTERS were called to a car collision in St Albans at 5.45pm yesterday (August 13).
One fire engine from St Albans fire service attended the incident at the junction of Abbey Avenue and Midway, which involved an Audi and a Ford KA.
A lamp post was damaged in the collision causing electrical wires to be exposed.
The Highways Agency took down the lamp post column and UK Power Networks arrived to reconnect the wiring, resolving the problem just after 8pm.
Three people were involved however all were uninjured.
