THIS car burst into flames in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday), leaving the driver having to abandon the vehicle in the road.

Firefighters were called to the car blaze in Park Street Lane, just before the M25 motorway bridge, at around 5am. They quickly put out the fire and logged the cause as accidental.

The blue vehicle was still in the road waiting to be recovered at 11am this morning.
