A police raid on an address in St Albans this morning (Wednesday) discovered suspected cannabis plants at various stages of growth.
The plants had an estimated street value of between £10,000 and £15,000 and were seized from a property in Tanners Close, off Verulam Road shortly before 7am.
A 44-year-old man from St Albans was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis by the St Albans Central, North & West Safer Neighbourhood Team.
Sergeant Ann-Marie Owen said: “Cannabis has a strong pungent smell. If you suspect someone is growing or dealing controlled drugs, please contact us by calling 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 so we can investigate.”
