ST ALBANS: A veterinary surgery is appealing for the owner of a lost cat to come forward.
The short-haired black and white moggy had been hanging around the offices of the Campaign for Real Ale in Hatfield Road for a number of weeks before it was taken into nearby Medivet on Friday.
The cat, which is estimated to be around three years old, was checked over and found to be in perfect health, but he wasn’t wearing a collar and had not been microchipped.
As he is healthy, the vets were unable to keep him at the surgery in case he has an owner and he had to be released with a collar requesting that the owner phones the finders.
If anyone recognises the cat or knows who its owners are, contact Medivet on 01727 852 500 urgently.
