A WOMAN in her twenties has been taken to hospital after a road traffic accident on the London Colney bypass this lunchtime (Thursday).
She was driving a black Ford Ka southbound on the bypass just off Junction 22 of the M25 when the vehicle overturned at around 12.15pm.
Both sides of the carriageway along the bypass between The Bell roundabout and London Colney roundabout were closed after the accident but the northbound carriageway is due to reopen shortly.
The woman was taken to QEII Hospital in Welwyn Garden City and police are asking anyone with information about the accident to contact them on 0845 33 00 222.
