BUS users in St Albans now have access to clearer timetables, thanks to the installation of a new state-of-the-art information system.
It has been added at six of the eight bus stops on St Peter's Street, gives details of scheduled bus departures in an easy-to-read format.
Passengers can use the screens to find out when the next bus for the City Station is, for example, and the new technology can also flash up special messages at times of disruption.
Herts County Councillor Stuart Pile, Executive Member for Highways, Transport and Rural Affairs, said: "The system already proved its worth during the recent bad weather and the roadworks in Victoria Street because we are able to inform people of changes to bus services.
