JEWELLERY and various other valuables were stolen in a burglary in Bricket Wood on Monday.

The culprits broke into the Reynard’s Way property through the kitchen window between 8.15am and 12.10pm and carried out a search before making off with numerous items including a laptop, two digital cameras, a camcorder and a Blackberry mobile phone.

DC Ange Wade from the Local Crime Unit in St Albans said: “We’re carrying out numerous enquiries into this burglary and are keen to determine if there were any witnesses who recall seeing any suspicious behaviour that morning.
