SANDRIDGE: Jewellery, a laptop and clothing were stolen in a house break-in last Tuesday, November 16.

The burglary took place between 6.30am and 7pm at a property in Langley Grove where the thieves got in through the rear of the building.

Det Con Wendy Tomlinson said: “The burglary occurred during the daytime and there may be people in the area who saw suspicious behaviour and I would appeal for them to come forward.

“One of the items of jewellery stolen was a gold cross necklace with a blue sapphire stone in the centre of the cross. The gold on the cross is also patterned. I would be keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered this item for sale.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on the non emergency number 0845 33 00 222 as soon as possible.
