A BUDDHIST group in St Albans is inviting everyone to join them this weekend as they welcome a special guest teacher.
The Diamond Way Buddhism group, located at 19A Verulam Road, will host a weekend of talks that focus on several Buddhist topics and these will be led by Buddhist teacher, Matt Huddleston.
The event will give the ever-growing St Albans group a chance to reflect on the relationship between science and Buddhism as well as the importance and benefits of meditation. It is hoped that the weekend will also promote the group’s new centre as they have recently moved into a new venue in the city centre.
The St Albans Diamond Way centre was opened in 2008 by a group of Buddhist practitioners living in the city and surrounding area. Every Friday they host open meditation sessions from 8pm.
