Firefighters went old-school and used a bucket of water to extinguish a blaze in St Albans yesterday (July 3).
A crew from St Albans Fire Station were called to a small but deliberate fire near Toulmin Drive, Batchwood, in St Albans at about 5.40pm.
It turned out to be a single tree which was alight, and only a pail of water was needed to put it out.
Herts Fire Control have reminded people that this arson is still a crime.
