The 17 year old responsible for the Ladbrokes robberies earlier this year has been sentenced at St Albans Crown Court.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at the court on Friday (4) and pleaded guilty to six counts of robbery, two of which occurred at the St Peter’s Street branch of Ladbrokes.
He received a custodial sentence of five years and nine months.
The St Albans bookmakers was targeted on October 2nd and later on October 16th in a series of robberies. No one was injured.
Other incidents took place in Swindon, Flitwick and Dunstable.
