A child was hit by a van during rush hour traffic yesterday evening (Thursday, May 28).
A spokesman for Herts Police confirmed officers were called to the incident at 5.50pm in St Vincent Drive after an 11-year-old boy was involved in a collision with a van.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service Trust confirmed the boy was conscious and breathing with an injury to his knee and was taken to Lister Hospital for further treatment.
