A body believed to be that of James Lomax has been found


A body has been found in the search for a missing Wheathampstead man.

Herts Police officers searching for James Lomax, 83, of Manor Road, have discovered a body in fields close to his home.

The body is yet to be formally identified, but is believed to be James.

His wife and family have been informed and a formal identification will take place as soon as possible.

Police officers have stopped searching and would like to thank all members of the public who lent their support.
