Blue Cross Kimpton is currently home to Angel, an eight month old crossbreed, who has been in the kennels for more than 80 days.

The Blue Cross first met Angel after she had broken her back legs, and was admitted to the Victoria animal hospital.

Angel then moved to the Kimpton kennels, where she is still waiting for a family to adopt her. Robyn Messingham, animal welfare officer from the branch, said: “It’s heartbreaking that Angel is still in kennels.

“She’s had such a tough start to life and really deserves to find loving owners. She’s a friendly dog who adores being with people and she always makes us smile. It’s so sad that she gets overlooked as she’s one of the loveliest dogs you could ever wish to meet.”

Angel is looking for active owners who can continue to train her. She enjoys countryside walks, cuddles, and learning new tricks. Robyn added: “We’re desperate to find Angel a new home and would love to hear from anyone who thinks they can help.”
