A STRANGE structure made its home in a Chiswell Green park last week, and was instantly swarming with excited youngsters.
The climbing blocks, formed by tetrahedrons joined together, were unveiled at Greenwood Park by St Stephen parish councillors.
The BLOQX, manufactured by Kompan, were very popular with young people from the parish who had come to see the bizarre new playground equipment.
Parish councillors John Bell and Bill Pryce took full advantage of the launch event to climb on the blocks, although normally they will be used by under 14s only.
The parish council said they believed the equipment allowed children to be more adventurous, something they wanted to encourage within a safe environment.
