THIRTEEN birds have been stolen from an aviary in the back garden of a St Albans house.
The seven Green Finches, two Brown Redpolls, two Silver Redpolls, a Chinese Green Finch and a Gold Finch were taken from the property in Charmouth Road between last Wednesday and Saturday.
Police are appealing for information and witnesses to the theft, particularly anyone who saw someone acting suspiciously in the area between those dates.
