A number of bikes were stolen from a garage in Frogmore in the early hours of the morning, after thieves broke into a garage.

The incident occurred on Monday (May 11) at around 5.30am when a red Honda 1989 125 2 Stoke, which has ‘501’ printed on all sides, a white Honda 1987 125 2 Stroke, with the digits ‘501’ on the front and ‘13’ on both sides and an Australian flag, a red Honda 1989 250 2 Stroke and a red Honda 1981 CR 125 2 Stroke were all taken from the home in Radlett Road.

A Beta Rev-3 trial motorbike, a Honda CR f50 and an Export 110 pit bike as well as a petrol scooter and two specialised silver and grey Stump Jumpers mountain bikes were also stolen.

Detective Constable Robert Muir from the St Albans local crime unit said: “We believe the bikes were wheeled through a field at the rear of the address and into Hampden Place, where it’s possible a van was used to collect them.”
